Bihar TET Result 2017
Bihar TET Result 2017 has Announced.The result of Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test (BTET) has been declared. This examination is conducted by the Bihar School Educational Board to assess the suitability of candidates for teaching in Classes I to V and Classes VI to VIII. It consisted of 2 papers and both the papers were conducted in the month of July 2017.
The BTET results were announced on 21st September, and applicants have to follow the below steps for viewing their result:
- Applicant to log into the official website: bsebonline.net or www.biharboard.ac.in.
- The link for the result is BTET 2017 result.
- Applicants to enter their registration number and date of birth.
- The result shall be displayed.
The cut-off percentage for the examination is as follows:
|Women and OBC||55%|
|SC / ST / PH||50%|
As per certain statistics, the results have been quite dismal for this year. Only 11.93% women and 21.85% men cleared the examination. An important factor for this could be due to the fact that the answer sheets of 11,351 examinees were deemed invalid due to several reasons, including the use of a whitener which is strictly not allowed.
However, applicants who could not clear the examination or have secured low marks should not be disheartened. There are no restrictions on the number of attempts for this examination as long as the eligibility criteria are being fulfilled. Applicants should also note that a TET certificate is valid for a period of 7 years from the date of issue, and this can be used for the application of jobs to various state-run schools. However, qualification of the examination does not guarantee a job and applicants might have to undergo interview rounds in respective schools.
A big round of applause to all applicants who have cleared the paper and wishing them a flourishing career ahead!
